- A barium-complex soap-based grease, characterized by its long fibres and tenacious nature
- For use on diamond drill rods used in rock drilling
- Reduces the friction between the rod and the rock strata where the drill has penetrated
- Has lubricated successfully to more than 2,000-foot drill depths without wash-off or wipe-off

For use specifically on Bucyrus International, Inc. draglines

VULTREX Cam Compounds are recommended for use on Bucyrus International, Inc. draglines to lubricate two different types of Walking Cam Mechanisms. The products conform to the Bucyrus International, Inc. Specification X-2640, Scope B for the Rolling Cam mechanism and Specification X-2636, Scopes A and B for the Slide and Cam mechanism
- VULTREX Rolling Cam Compound is recommended for the rolling cam mechanism (Monighan) where the ambient temperature does not drop below -20°C (-4°F)
- VULTREX Rolling Cam Compound Light is recommended for draglines using the rolling cam mechanism (Monighan) where temperatures can drop as low as -35°C (-31°F)
- VULTREX Slide Cam Compound is recommended for draglines using the Cam and Slide mechanism where temperatures do not drop below -25°C (-13°F)
- VULTREX Slide Cam Compound Light is recommended for draglines using Cam and Slide mechanism where temperatures can drop as low as -35°C (-31°F)
- Provides excellent lubrication and adhesion
